Who We Are
 |
|
| |
|
New Hope Alliance Church (NHAC) began in the fall
of 1988 when a small group of people felt God leading them to start a
church. After meeting with denominational representatives from The
Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA), sensing their heart for Christ
and the denominations desire to see the world come to Jesus, this group
decided to join the C&MA and become what is now known as New Hope Alliance
Church. NHAC has had two pastors during this time with Rev. Shawn Higgins pasturing
from 1996 - 2005. New Hope started out with around 20 people and today
God has brought it to where some 70 + people gather together for worship
on Sunday morning representing three different nations. Our worship style
is what is today termed blended, a bringing together of the best hymns and
contemporary chorus’ all in an effort to provide a wide opportunity for
people to worship the Lord in what is comfortable to them. Our desire is
to see people impacted for Christ each and every time we gather together
so that everyone can say when they leave, it was good to be in the House
of the Lord
